iPad or App Fixes
The DOE has loaned internet-enabled iPads to students across New York City for remote learning. Visit the NYC DOE iPad fixes page where you will find information on how to get started with your iPad, and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Parents and Guardians:
To gain access to the DOE Student Accounts and Google Classroom, please visit the NYC DOE Student Accounts Website.  ​This will give you directions to find your student ID, email address and reset your password.   Remember, you need the email address provided by the NYC DOE to access Google Classroom.

TeachHub is a portal to support students and teachers. The portal provides quick links to essential applications for remote learning, including:
  • Google Classroom, Zoom, Google Meet 
  • Student report cards (available in the Student Documents icon)
  • Multiple educational applications
  • G Suite, Microsoft O365, and Zoom (using secure central accounts)
  • And more!
There are several free or low-cost internet options available to New York City students and families.
The following internet carriers are offering free household Wi-Fi or special accommodations for 60 days:
  • Comcast
  • Charter Communications/Spectrum
  • Altice

NYC School Account
NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) is a web-based application that lets you to see your child’s academic and biographic information on any computer, phone, or tablet. The application is translated into nine languages other than English.  For assistance using the NYC Schools account visit the NYC Department of Education Website. 
To Our P.S. 33 Community
One of the best ways to ensure you stay informed is for you to enroll in the NYC Schools Account at https://mystudent.nyc/   (NYCSA). NYCSA provides an effective way for families to get emergency notifications from the DOE as well as your child's school generated email address. After you create an account, you need to link to your child with an access code. If you do not have this access code you can reach out to our Parent Coordinator, Mrs. Maldonado at jmaldonado@schools.nyc.gov.   Once linked to your child, parents and guardians can see students’ grades, attendance, transportation information, test scores, and more.

PS 33Q is going to be using Google Classroom for remote learning during the time the school buildings are closed.  For students to access Google Classroom, please follow the link below for information on how to log onto the remote learning tool our school is using.

In addition, please make sure that your child’s teacher has the most current phone numbers or email contact information for you.  If your child’s teacher uses and online communication website or application, please make sure that you are signed up for this account.
